Sometimes I wonder what drives a company to release a postcard, and this one of those! But I am glad they did as this depicts the estate fed by nettlefield Road and shows the existence of Great Burton farmhouse, still intact amongst the estate that has been built around it.

Except for the farmhouse, the site of which is now occupied by a small block of flats, is pretty much the same today.
